What to Do When an Old Page Still Appears in Google
An old page still appearing in Google usually means one of two things: the page is genuinely gone, or it has changed but Google has not refreshed its snippet.
Check the live page
Open the URL in a private window. If the content has actually changed or been removed, Google's outdated content tool is usually the right route.
When the page is fully removed
If the source page returns an error, the URL can typically be removed through Google's update tools, but timing depends on Google.
When the page is still live
If the page is still live and unchanged, Google has no obligation to remove it. Suppression or a publisher route may be the next option.
